Planning Director Deborah Carpenter presented on planning for resilience.

Panel on Agriculture and Climate Change.  Katie Stevens, Mary Kathryn Barnet, and Rob Schnable panelists, moderator Belinda Burrier.

Frederick Mayor Michael O'Connor and County Executive Jessica Fitzwater addressed the conference.

Breakout session on creating a robust food system. Panelists were Haroun Halleck, Amy Cawley, Emma Jagoz, Sarah McAlevy, and Amy Cawley.  Moderators were Lisa Orr and Alison Wexler.

Film Series

Three climate related films at three different locations around the county

In the Street (Frederick City)

We distributed information and trees.

Tree plantings

We planted trees at the Islamic Society mosque in Frederick, and at a park in Middletown.  In March and early April, we planted approximately 1,000 trees on Glade Creek in Walkersville.  The latter was in partnership with Streamlink Education.  See photos in the gallery page.
